We stayed at The Poltergeist house last weekend and it was amazing! 6 girls and 1 dog! Plenty of room for everyone. We watched Poltergeist 1 & 2 while we were there. Rachel is a great host and very responsive. When we were relaxing at the house we enjoyed hanging out in the backyard. Huge pool, hot tub and fire pit. This was a great experience and I’m so glad we did it! If you love the Poltergeist movie I would highly recommend it! I also appreciate that it is pet friendly.

My 9 year old daughter and I have watched horror movies every Friday night for the last 18 months, and we took a horror movie vacation a couple of weeks ago. We were fortunate enough to have stayed at the Poltergeist House!! Rachel (your host) has the house in amazing condition with the interior exactly as it was in the movie! The entry way and upstairs scenes were filmed on a set, but the tv/living room, kitchen, pool, exterior, and dining scenes were all so very true to the movie. Rachel has done a tremendous job at making you feel connected to the movie while giving modern luxury. I know it sounds like you can't have both, but well... there it is. Rachel was super fast to respond to text and starting the hot tub so that my daughter and I could jump in the January-brisk pool water with completely imaginary corpses and right into the hot tub. Just an amazing host and even better experience! I truly cannot wait to come back.

We came to stay at the classic house early December 2025. The four of us have all been Poltergeist fans since the beginning, and absolutely loved staying here. Rachel was an amazing host and made sure we had everything that we needed. While no ghosts came to visit during our stay, we had a simply amazing time and can't wait to come back!

All the details of the house and Easter eggs from the movie are delightful! We had a blast. Rachel was amazingly helpful. We had to reschedule and she made it so easy. We will definitely be back.

The home & grounds are absolutely gorgeous with the best in updated appliances & electronics, but also 80’s fun where needed. This is the dream spot for any horror fan & 80’s fan! It felt like being at our own private resort. The host left so many items for us- kitchen, bathroom & fun goodies! We felt so welcome & comfortable. No need to leave- just relax & enjoy!

Truly a one-of-a-kind experience! A big house with lots of light and positive energy that transports you right back to the '80s, while also having all of the modern amenities you'd expect from any rental. The giant pool and spa out back, along with the firepit, make it just as fun to spend your day outdoors as inside. An impressive home in its own right, made all the more special by its connection to Poltergeist. The flickering TV in the living room and the many details of the kitchen make you feel like you walked right into the movie! Highly recommend also watching the movie on VHS in the living room for an extra surreal experience. Thanks for letting me be your Polter-guest!

I can’t believe we just stayed at the actual POLTERGEIST house! So surreal and so very awesome. Upon arrival we played the poltergeist theme song lol. Loved every moment! Even the little spooky ones ;) staying at the Poltergeist house where they made cinematic horror history is just so freakin’ cool. How awesome is it that Rachel bought the home and is giving everyone the opportunity to rent it out? Thank you Rachel for giving people the chance to stay at this iconic home. And thank you for accommodating me and my family. We’ll definitely be back.

It was such an incredible experience to visit the Poltergeist house, and watch the film on an original TV and VHS, just like when I was a kid in the 80s!! Plus we got to go in the pool- amazing. Meeting Rachel, the owner made it even more special and she gave us a super informative tour when we arrived, and was so generous and fun to hang with. The house had a great modern TV room too and going into the kitchen was like walking onto the set of the film. The whole experience was a dream come true and Rachel was an impeccable hostess. I wish we could have stayed longer!! This is a must for any Poltergeist fan and I highly recommend it.

A friendly dog lives on-site with the host when she is around. You may see her outside occasionally.
